Bollywood Meets Hollywood Action Heroes

HOLLYWOOD, CA – August 22, 2009

Imajilan Pictures (IP) has officially placed a major action-adventure-tech project into its development group.

“Flagship One” is slated as a West meets East film featuring two powerful “A” list  stars—one from Hollywood and one from Bollywood.

The buddy-buddy film also features some of the world’s most beautiful and talented women from both film capitols. Rounding out the talent will be one of Hollywood’s top action directors, say spokespersons.

“This is one of those great summer tent-poles that has everything in it—fresh action, high tech, beautiful locations, awesome talent, and tons of fun on fun,” said Zelan Bonn, Imajilan CEO.

Officials have otherwise declared a news blackout, declining to release talent names or story details until the final shooting script and paperwork have been completed.

The nine figure budget project is being funded outside the studio system, say officials, allowing there is still room for private investment groups.

Filming is expected to begin mid-summer 2011 across multiple countries, including Europe, US, and India

Producers hope to capture a slice of India’s unique cultural flavor while showcasing to the world two of that country’s top stars that are rarely seen outside the country.

“We’re going to put some great Indian talent on the world audience map—it’s going to be a lot of fun,” said IP producer David Bartlett.
