Job Opportunities

If you have been contacted by us and asked to send us a resume and cover letter, forward it to Human Resources and be sure to include a list of your past projects and past supervisors with direct contact information for all. All onscreen talent, if we have requested information from you, should include  DVDs of past performances and list of credits as well as a 90-day or less recent head shot (3x5 are acceptable).

Project By Project Contracts

We are not blanket signatories to any union, guild, or film industry association but instead work on a project by project basis only. Some projects are union signatories and some are not. Check with your Imajilan™ producer if you are not sure.

SAG Actors

We typically use SAG actors for all our major film and television projects while our new media, and some Indy and shorts projects typically do not.  As a rule, we support SAG.

WGA Writers

Most of our major feature film and television projects adhere to WGA standards whether the writer is a member or not. We typically pay among the highest rates in the industry and only take on projects we expect to heavily pursue and transform into entertainment products. However, we do not always subscribe to all WGA agreement requirements, as some have been proven highly prejudicial to producers; they often do not adjust for, or address, producer risks, time, or costs in preparing a project, or the respective creative risk that varies with each unique script and its special needs toward ensuring project's success. Each project is examined on its own merits and a final determination it made at the outset of any initial offers.

Indy Films & Major Movies

Imajilan™ works in both areas of film production because both offer unique opportunities. Indy film making encourage more expressive forms and creative outlets for writers, directors, talent and others while major movie production offers its own unique rewards. We love both aspects in work in both areas, which gives everyone who works for Imajilan™ more opportunities to slide both upward and downward to achieve their career and creative goals.

Non Union Actors And Others

Imajilan™ often has several ongoing projects available for new talent entry points. Projects typically include shorts, comedy snippets, and Internet or mobile productions. Work ranges from unpaid (i.e. CD/DVD reels, catering only, etc.) to fully paid. All compensation plans are fully disclosed prior to entering into a project commitment. Even if there is no pay involved, we take our work seriously. Hence all talent "no shows" are permanently barred from future participation with any Imajilan™ project--so if you commit to do it, then we'll hold you to it.

Non Union Comedy and Short Writers

Send us an inquiry letter only. We are always looking for new materials. Note: These projects typically do not adhere to WGA compensation levels.

Behind The Camera Talent

To be considered, please send us your resume with a one page cover letter. We are always looking for skilled professionals.

Equal Opportunity Employer

Imajilan™ does not discriminate based on race, religion, ethnicity, age, or sexual orientation. We even hired an alien once but then we found out he was Danny DeVito in drag! (Love you Danny! We're fans--just kidding!!!)
